Chelsea fans club Nnewi celebrate premier title with fanfare





The Chelsea Fans Club, Nnewi [CFC], penultimate week celebrated its revered club’s premier league title with fanfare, winning and dinning, and entertainment, Newsburster authoritatively reports.


Speaking to Newsburster, the club’s President Hon Chukwuka Igwe hinted that they were celebrating their club’s victory over Sunderland after pipping the later 5-I to lift the trophy.



Hon Igwe who is popularly known as Igwe Chelsea stated that the supporters club started in 2003, and has been registered in Abuja, Awka and Nnewi with the vision of  helping one another, as well as offer a platform to familiarize themselves within the club.

He further explained that this was the 6th time they were having such fanfare, and entertainment, saying that Chelsea is the richest football club in the world.

The amiable president whiling congratulating the coach and the players for making them proud tasked them to put more efforts, especially in the attack in order to retain the trophy next season. 

'Noteworthy is that membership of the club is opened to every adult irrespective of sex, religion and tribe so far the candidate is not an apprentice, house boy, as well as anybody without criminal records or into illegal or illicit business.

'Prospective members must be introduced by an active member, and must be given three months probation period before he/she is admitted into the club, and thereafter the necessary registration is done. 

'It is also important to state that the fees are affordable, and the benefits are immense as the club will always identify with its members in anything, good or bad, as far as the member maintains the club's code of conduct at all times', he explained.

Meanwhile, membership form for 2017 registration is still on-going, and can be obtained from the club's secretary, or financial member.
